Altius Studios ("we," "us") builds websites and content for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through altiusstudios.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain English and kept it short.
What we collect
When you use our free homepage demo, we collect the answers you give us:
- About your business: business name, type of business, a short description, location, services, your main goal for a website, and the style you picked.
- Your contact details: your name, email address, and phone number (if you give it).
If you email us, we receive whatever you include in your message. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don't collect payment information on this site.
How we use it
- To create your demo homepage on screen.
- To contact you about your website, answer your questions, and send you a proposal if you ask for one.
- To understand what kinds of businesses are interested in our services, so we can improve them.
We will not add you to a marketing mailing list without your permission.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We only use a few trusted service providers to run this website:
- FormSubmit delivers your demo answers to our email inbox.
- Google (Gmail) hosts our email, and Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site. Loading fonts shares your IP address with Google, as with most websites.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and may record basic, anonymous visit statistics.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to talk with you about your website, or to work with you if you become a client. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. If you live in a state with its own privacy law, such as California, you have these rights too, and we will never treat you differently for using them.
Security
This site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we limit who can see your information. No method of sending or storing data online is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
Children
This site is meant for business owners and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
